You are not our employee
where.care does not employ you. A family that books you hires you. Counsel has not yet labeled that relationship as a particular kind of contractor or registry placement. Until that label exists, the product will not call you an employee of where.care, and where.care will not assign your clinical duties.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your name, license, certifications, and rates. A staff review of a license is point-in-time. A background check goes live only from a Checkr report. Neither is a promise to families that you are currently clear with a board.
Background checks and pay
Step 4 of onboarding includes a separate FCRA disclosure and authorization. Counsel still reviews that disclosure and the pre-adverse and adverse email templates. This page does not replace that disclosure.
A booked shift includes a 10% platform fee. You are paid the posted total minus that fee when Stripe Connect is enabled. where.care does not hold the family’s payment in escrow. We recommend you consider your own liability insurance. where.care does not provide that insurance.
