Transportation assistance covers non-emergency medical trips (doctor visits, infusions, dialysis), grocery runs, pharmacy pickups, and social outings. The caregiver drives either the client’s vehicle or their own, stays with the client through the appointment (door-through-door), and handles any walker or wheelchair loading. For wheelchair-van transport, a separate NEMT provider is usually required; standard transportation pros on where.care do not claim wheelchair-van capability unless explicitly listed. All drivers have active licenses verified at onboarding.
